Scope
Architecture
This residence is designed with a view towards a primarily enclosed internal garden as an organizing element around which all the public and private spaces revolve.
In doing so, it is split essentially into two wings, a private wing towards the back housing all the family needs and a semi-public wing that embraces all the required needs to entertain guests.
Furthermore, there is a front pavilion at the front that receives all the guests, complete with a guest bedroom that is accessible from the outside without infringing the privacy needs of the family.
Facade-wise, we have opted for an expression that whilst modern in its outlook is nonetheless imbued with a strong tropical presence; given its wide expense of roof eaves, shadowy screens, and lattices that recalls the momentum Robie House by Frank Lloyd Wright.
